Get involved
Background Information
Nationally, demand on A&E is challenging and in many places exceeding the capacity available.
This is placing pressure on NHS trusts which is impacting the standard of which 95% of patients who attend A&E need to be admitted, transferred or discharged within 4 hours of arrival.
NHS Greater Manchester’s current performance remains below the target (78%) and we would like to understand why this may be.
The survey questions were asking include:
- Which A&E you attended?
- What decisions led to your attendance at A&E?
- What was your experience whilst you were there?
- How might things be improved?
- About you, this really helps us understand if there are any themes we need to know about that effect different groups of people.
We want see how we can look to improve the A&E experience, so your views and options really matter to us!
